We drove over to Burnham Overy Staithe this evening as it was low tide and i had a new pair of Bogs I was wanting to try out.
Bogs for anyone who does not Know are the best waterproof boots out there and a huge improvement on the old wellies.
So i started to wander about looking for a prime spot to take some pictures and as I took what i thought was going to be a short cut I found myself knee deep in thick mud.
As the other half had gone to the pub for coffee and I stood there it suddenly dawned on me how serious my problem was, with camera and tripod in one hand and filters in the other I could not pull my boots free, So I had to leave the boots in the mud and wade through the mud in my socks put my gear on the quay then wade back for my boots.
When the other half returned wanting to know why my socks were laying full of mud and I told her she could'nt stop laughing, Might have guessed there would be no sympathy.
Still managed a few good shots in the end even with freezing cold feet.
